Crispy Air Fryer Chicken & Beans Delight

Ingredients
- 🍗Chicken thighs(1 lb)
- 🌱Canned black beans(1 can (15 oz))
- 🧄Garlic powder(1 tsp)
- 🧂Salt(1/2 tsp)
- 🌶️Black pepper(1/2 tsp)
- 🌽Corn (frozen or canned)(1 cup)
- 🧅Onion powder(1 tsp)
- 🧈Olive oil(2 tbsp)
- 🌿Cilantro (fresh, optional)(for garnish)
Instructions
- 1.Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- 2.In a large bowl, combine the chicken thighs with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly.
- 3.Place the seasoned chicken thighs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through for even crispiness.
- 4.While the chicken is cooking, rinse and drain the canned black beans. If using frozen corn, thaw it under warm water or in the microwave.
- 5.After 15 minutes, add the black beans and corn to the air fryer basket with the chicken. Cook for an additional 10 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure everything is heated through and slightly crispy.
- 6.Once done, check that the chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). If not, give it a few more minutes in the air fryer.
- 7.Remove the chicken and beans from the air fryer, garnish with fresh cilantro if desired, and serve hot.
